There are only a few letters from this year as well, because – with the exception of three trips to different German cities – Marie v. Sivers took part in all of the trips, especially to the lecture cycles: in March, a cycle in Italy for the first time, in Rome at the invitation of Princess del Drago, and immediately afterwards to Malsch near Karlsruhe for the laying of the foundation stone of the model building planned by friends there according to the intentions of the Munich Congress. In April, the cycle “Spiritual Hierarchies and their Reflection in the Physical World” (GA 110) will follow in Düsseldorf, and in May, “Theosophy as Revealed in the Apocalypse” (in GA 104a) in Oslo.
At the end of May, the 5th congress of the Federation of European Sections will take place in Budapest. Afterwards, Rudolf Steiner will give the cycle “Theosophy and Occultism of the Rosicrucian” (in GA 109).
After the Kassel cycle “The Gospel of John in Relation to the Three Other Gospels” (GA 112), the time from the second half of July to the end of August is dedicated to preparing and holding the festival event in Munich. On August 22, the Schauspielhaus will host the performance of Edouard Schuré's drama “The Children of Lucifer”, translated by Marie v. Sivers and set into free rhythms by Rudolf Steiner. As in 1907, Rudolf Steiner is directing the play, and the main characters are the initiators of the performance: Marie v. Sivers and Mieta Waller, who is repeatedly mentioned as a friend and colleague in the letters of the following years. The cycle “The Orient in the Light of the Occident. The Children of Lucifer and the Brothers of Christ” (GA 113) is part of the festival event. In September, the cycle on the Gospel of Luke followed in Basel (GA 114).
Actually, Rudolf Steiner did not want his lectures to be written down. However, it happened anyway, and the transcripts circulated among the members, which contained many errors. Therefore, it was necessary to ensure that the transcripts were reasonably authentic. Marie v. Sivers also took on this task, organized the stenographers and supervised the reproduction of the transcripts, which were published by the Philosophisch-Anthroposophischer Verlag.
At the General Assembly in October, Marie v. Sivers gave a report on the growth of the movement. Seven new branches: Wroclaw, Koblenz, Essen, Mulhouse in Alsace, Strasbourg II, Dresden II, Munich IV, bring the number of branches to 44. The number of members is 1500, compared to 1150 the previous year. Rudolf Steiner points out that in the meantime 20 members are actively involved not only in their branches but also in the entire section through lectures.

Auch aus diesem Jahr liegen nur wenige Briefe vor, weil - mit Ausnahme von drei Reisen in verschiedene deutsche Städte - Marie v. Sivers alle Reisen mitmacht, insbesondere zu den Vortragszyklen: im März erstmals ein Zyklus in Italien, in Rom auf Einladung der Fürstin del Drago, gleich anschließend geht es nach Malsch bei Karlsruhe zur Grundsteinlegung des von dortigen Freunden nach den Intentionen des Münchner Kongresses geplanten Modellbaues. Im April folgt in Düsseldorf der Zyklus «Geistige Hierarchien und ihre Widerspiegelung in der physischen Welt» (GA 110), im Mai in Oslo «Theosophie an der Hand der Apokalypse» (in GA 104a).
Ende Mai findet in Budapest der 5. Kongress der Föderation Europäischer Sektionen statt. Im Anschluss daran hält Rudolf Steiner dort den Zyklus «Theosophie und Okkultismus des Rosenkreuzers» (in GA 109).
Nach dem Kasseler Zyklus «Das Johannes-Evangelium im Verhältnis zu den drei anderen Evangelien» (GA 112) ist die Zeit der zweiten Julihälfte bis Ende August der Vorbereitung und Durchführung der Festveranstaltung in München gewidmet. Am 22. August findet im Schauspielhaus die Aufführung des von Marie v.Sivers übersetzten und von Rudolf Steiner in freie Rhythmen gebrachten Dramas von Edouard Schuré& «Die Kinder des Luzifer» statt. Regie führt - wie schon 1907 — Rudolf Steiner, Hauptdarsteller sind die Initianten der Aufführung: Marie v. Sivers und Mieta Waller, die als Freundin und Mitarbeiterin in den Briefen der Folgezeit immer wieder erwähnt wird. Zu der Festveranstaltung gehört der Zyklus «Der Orient im Lichte des Occidents. Die Kinder des Lucifer und die Brüder Christi» (GA 113). Im September folgt in Basel der Zyklus über das Lukas-Evangelium (GA 114).
Eigentlich wünschte Rudolf Steiner nicht, dass seine Vorträge mitgeschrieben würden. Es geschah aber trotzdem, und Mitschriften zirkulierten unter den Mitgliedern, die viele Fehler enthielten. Daher sah man sich genötigt für einigermaßen authentische Nachschriften zu sorgen. Marie v. Sivers übernimmt auch diese Aufgabe, organisiert die Stenographen und betreut die Vervielfältigung der Nachschriften, die durch den Philosophisch-Anthroposophischen Verlag ausgegeben werden.
Bei der Generalversammlung im Oktober gibt Marie v.Sivers den Bericht über das Wachsen der Bewegung. 7 neue Zweige: Breslau, Koblenz, Essen, Mühlhausen im Elsass, Straßburg II, Dresden II, München IV, erhöhen die Zahl der Zweige auf 44. Die Anzahl der Mitglieder beträgt 1500, gegen 1150 im Vorjahr. Rudolf Steiner weist darauf hin, dass inzwischen 20 Mitglieder nicht nur in ihren Zweigen, sondern in der ganzen Sektion durch Vorträge aktiv mitwirken.
